One of American Chamber/Mexico's most important activities is to promote committees that keep members up-to-date on issues important to their businesses.  Currently, more than 1,000 executives serve on a network of 27 committees in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey. Ranging from human resource management to international trade, these volunteer-driven committees operate activity programs based on the members' common interests.

Committees meet on a monthly basis to assure that members stay current on
issues in their areas of interest as well as maintain contact with peers in the U.S./Mexico business community.

Business leaders from member companies are appointed to chair committees annually by local AmCham presidents in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey. A Chamber staff member works with each committee to act as an expert resource and to provide support for committee activities.

AmCham/Monterrey Committees help member companies remain up-to-date on issues related to in Human Resources and International Trade through interactive workshops presented by knowledgeable and industry-influential speakers and by sharing experiences with other AmCham members.

As a member company, you are invited to join and participate in our committees:
